A Salute to Tuskegee Airmen

The Black Americans in Flight mural is an 8 feet x 51 feet painting that pays tribute to Tuskegee Airmen African American achievements in Aviation from 1917 to 1990. The historic mural includes 75 portraits, 18 aircraft, 3 bald eagles, five unit patches and one spacecraft. Since the formal dedication ceremony on August 13, 1990, the mural has been displayed at Lambert St. Louis International Airport and has been viewed by millions. The mural was rededicated after the terminal was reopened in February, 2012. Limited first addition signed lithograph copies are available.
