Abstract Connections: Near and Far
Opening Reception: Saturday, September 14, 2019 2 PM - 4 PM
Exhibition: Closing November 2, 2019
We are celebrating the Ollie Collection of African American abstractionists, by showcasing select works, created by ”established and next generation artists with a St. Louis connection“. The Ollie collection was donated to the Saint Louis Art Museum by St. Louis native Ronald Ollie and his wife, Monique.
International artist and St. Louis native, Lamerol Gatewood (above) is part of the Ollie collection. His extraordinary work is on exhibit at 10th Street Gallery along with other artists. The Abstract Connections: Near and Far exhibition includes work from private collectors and the 10th Street Gallery collection.
