The Alliance of Black Art Galleries received the St. Louis, MO 2014 AList Award for collaboration on the 250th Birthday Celebration. The galleries presented separate yet coordinated exhibitions that spoke to the experiences of St. Louis settlers, immigrants and residents in the 250 year history of St. Louis. The galleries will coordinate opening events, and provide educational components for youth, young adults, and other targeted groups throughout 2014.
